We’re thrilled to introduce Square Card, a prepaid business spending card that gives you instant access to your money from sales. Say goodbye to waiting until the next business day and boost your cash flow with instant access to your earnings.
We’ve recently created a new configuration tool that allows you to choose your brand preferences, preview them across surfaces, and seamlessly update them across multiple locations. We are initially launching this centralized Brand Editor with previews of Receipts and X2 POS Buyer Display, but will expand to other products like Invoices, Appointments, Loyalty, and more early in 2025.
We’ve recently added a new Goods and Services Confirmation feature setting in Square Invoices. With this setting enabled, buyers will be required to check a box confirming they received and accepted the goods and/or services on an order.
Your customers can now send eGift Cards to recipients via text message, in addition to email. When your customers purchase an eGift Card, they will now have the option to send the Gift Card to the recipient via email or text message.
We’ve recently made some updates on the type of information you can include on your projects and how you can organize your Projects and Invoices list views. These updates are available on both Square Dashboard and in the mobile Invoices app and will better help you organize both your Invoices and Projects.
We’re excited to share that you can now set up recurring payments for any ongoing business expenses, like rent, insurance, or vendor subscriptions. Choose to pay on a weekly or monthly basis, schedule a payment once and you’re set — you can easily edit or cancel an ongoing series at any time.
We’ve recently made some updates on how you can mark an invoice as paid within Square Dashboard. With this update, a new “Mark as paid” option will appear when you select an invoice. Here you’ll be able to capture any payments you receive outside of Square Invoices (like Cash, Checks or payments taken through Square POS).
Today, Square launched Tap to Pay on iPhone in Canada, allowing Square sellers to be among the first businesses in the country to try the new technology. Available within the Square Point of Sale, Square for Retail, and Square Appointments iOS apps, Tap to Pay on iPhone lets sellers accept contactless payments directly from their iPhone with no additional hardware required and at no additional cost, making it a powerful free-to-get-started option for entrepreneurs.
We’ve made it easier to use Payment Links if you have more than one location. Now, you can create, configure, and manage payment links for each of your locations individually, allowing you to tailor the payment experience to each unique business.
We’ve rolled out a new feature, offline payments, that enables you to take contactless and Chip + PIN payments on Square Stand and Square Reader when you do not have internet connection. Offline payments are already available on Square Register and Square Terminal, and we are excited for the expansion of this feature!
