I want to be able to specify start times for specific appointment types.   I have two appointment types: a half day and a full day. I want the full day to only start at 11:30 and the half day to start at either 11:30 or 3:30. The problem with the booking link is that even when booking according to service duration, an open day allows people to choose pretty much whatever time for a half day to start as long as it keeps the duration in the open hours. For years I have been trying to figure out a workaround for this. I have added padding to the duration to try to force it to pick the specific times. I have made a note for people to only choose 1130 or 330 but people see the other open times and will pick them anyway.   I have looked at other software and the easiest thing for me is still to just have a spreadsheet that I replicate my calendar on and populate a separate table with open spaces to send via email. This takes up a lot of time and becomes a big hassle when booking multiple months of appointments at once.   I am tired of having to do so much extra work for booking. Is anyone else having issues with Square since the updates that rolled out? I am not sure what customer type they think they position solutions for, but this is getting ridiculous on top of squeezing for more $.   'm not sure what happened to Square for Retail- has it disappeared (?), although 2025 feeds claim not going away and "premium features" being rolled into Square POS. Well, you didn't roll in the shipping, delivery options for in-person sales in the POS. Not all of us are restaurants.    I made the error of moving to Square Plus for the Appointments feature (we do tasting/making classes in our shop), but then I came to find out the Classes feature is missing a lot- customers can't directly buy with a gift card (instead they call the shop and we have to manually enter it all), can only buy one at a time (again, person calls to book multiple), doesn't have waitlist feature enabled. And, frankly, the classes website is so basic.   To add insult to injury, I have had a terrible time with my online website- features turned on, like "Gift option" only show on some items and not all (again I get a call), delivery for some reason is grayed out (again I get a call) but if I opt for pick up and then change this in the cart to delivery, it is then enabled. Yeah, like who wants to navigate that and create a bunch of website pop-up instructions? And before anyone chimes in, I have been on chat with Square people multiple times- including during Valentine's Day crush. These settings are all set correctly. Tell me why a Square person had to fix the gift option on Valentine's Day and now the issue is back. And yes, cleared cache, etc. Is it code corruption? When it impacts my bottomline without resolution, this is no longer acceptable.   Oh, and who else feels like chatting with "an agent" feels like an ai agent? I would like to request the ability to filter transactions in the Dashboard by the specific tax applied, similar to how transactions can currently be filtered by discount type.   At the moment, if we want to review transactions where certain taxes were applied or intentionally not applied, the only practical option is to export transactions to CSV and filter the data in a spreadsheet. While this works, it adds unnecessary steps when reviewing transactions directly inside the dashboard.   In our business we use several tax categories, for example: Tax Exempt – Resale Tax Exempt – 501(c)(3) No Tax (native Square status when no tax is applied)   It would be extremely helpful if the Transactions page allowed filtering by tax type, similar to the existing discount filters. For example: Filter → Taxes Applied Sales Tax Tax Exempt – Resale Tax Exempt – 501(c)(3) No Tax   This would allow operators and accountants to quickly review tax-exempt sales, verify nonprofit transactions, audit resale purchases, and investigate tax discrepancies without needing to export and analyze transaction data in a spreadsheet.   Since Square already tracks which tax rule is applied to each transaction, exposing that field as a dashboard filter would make transaction review and tax auditing significantly easier.   Thank you for considering this improvement. I’d like to request a feature enhancement for the Team Management/Scheduling functionality within Square.   Currently, when we schedule employee shifts, there is no built-in option for team members to sync their schedules directly with their personal calendars (e.g., iOS Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook). This lack of integration means employees have to open the Square Team app to check their shifts or manually enter each shift into their personal calendars—an extra step that is both time-consuming and error-prone.   Adding a feature that allows employees to automatically sync their scheduled shifts with their personal calendars would greatly improve convenience, reduce missed shifts, and enhance overall user experience for both managers and staff. ...
