Setting to exclude some items from tip calculations!

Hi there, for many of us that operate a hybrid food or coffee business, we combine made to order food products with some amount of retail, such as merch, bags of coffee, or other CPG.

There should be an option to exclude certain items, especially big ticket retail items, from the suggested tip calculation in the checkout flow.

For instance, if a customer buys a $4 coffee and a $30 hat, we should not be suggesting a 20% tip on the total, but rather just the coffee.

Yeah, this seems like a very logical option to me @mustardsbagels .   I also have a retail and restaurant space in the same facility and we also sell our own merchandise.  I can see where you are coming from.

Of course the option would be to enter a manual tip amount, which would allow this, but not do the math (and basic math seems to be a challenge to many).

I know discount eligibility is in beta, so maybe they can gratuity eligibility at some point also.
