Welcome!
The pet industry sounds like a fun one, although I'm sure it is like any business and not fun to run.

Not sure about alot of stuff on this site, and if anyone has any ideas or advice it would be greatly appreciated to help with learning the in's and out's of all that square has to offer.
Welcome to the Community @MelsDrawings, we're thrilled to have you here 👋 !
I understand all the features can feel a bit overwhelming at first, and I'd be happy to help with any questions you may have. Can you tell me a bit more about your business and the way you plan on taking payments so I can share some helpful resources ?
Hi, I am new to the square seller community although I have had the account for some time now. I sell handmade candles and wax melts. Please feel free to check out my website www.nirvanacandleco.co.uk we actually have a sale on at the moment.

Hi @rya1234 , welcome to the Square community. Great place to see what new features are in the pipeline and a great resource if you are struggling to figure out how to do something with the system.
Your site looks lovely, I'm partial to a good candle, like the sound of the honey and tobacco candle.
Good luck with your business ! 🙂
Thank you so much! 🙂

Rawson Mobile Detailing
I was hoping for some help on how I can properly get my business seen more and to bring more business in, I have ran my detailing business for about 3 years and its just crazy hard to get clientele, was hoping for some advice or tips, thank you Rawson Detailing
Welcome @autodetailer253
It's nice to see other auto businesses here!
Before I go naming off some ideas, what are some things that you have tried so far? Where abouts are your located, generally. Are you in a heavily populated town or city? What do you have for competition, are their other mobile detailers like yourself?
I live in a pretty rural area, but I can count over 10 detailers within 50 miles of my location, none of the though are mobile though.
awesome questions- you know I'm going to say social media.. But word of mouth I think most important. Around here mobile detailing is sorta a scam- everyone posts about it and it's sort of a side eye situation- so I am not sure if that's by you... but something to overcome.

Yeah I think out of the 10 or so that I know of, only 3 of them are full time businesses. The others are just extra income side hustles (nothing wrong with that). I don't think we have any actual mobile ones.
The word of mouth can for sure make or break a small business, I suppose that is true though with social media given recent marketing tactics by a couple companies. haha
Hey Rawson, welcome to Square Online 👋 It’s definitely an adjustment at first, but it can be a great tool to get more eyes on your detailing business.
Google-friendly setup – make sure your site has your location + “detailing” keywords in the title, description, and page text so people searching locally can find you.
It’ll take some time, but with consistent updates + promoting your site, it starts bringing clients in.
Sounds like your business will be a local business requiring you to build up a good strong loyal customer base.
I would say SM is a good one for this. Really emphasize both the convenience and quality of your service/work. I would imagine you could do this visually, might add a little time to your job not sure if this is detrimental, also you don't want your client thinking you are do your business marketing on their dime. May be check with them at the beginning and explain what you are doing.
Also the promo or discount cards are always good. Perhaps a range of promotions, discounts, upselling etc. so they have something new each time.
If you really want to go next level, once you have some critical mass take a look at Square Loyalty as I think this would work really well with a detailing business. Once they sign up you have a good direct link to market to your customers.
Good luck! 👍
