"Free Shipping Where Available" needs to be removed

I set up a shipping profile a couple of years ago that offered free shipping. I have since deleted it and now want to charge shipping. I created shipping profiles with the appropriate charges for all items. Why is the "Free Shipping where available" still showing up for every single item before a customer checks out? This is very deceiving and so frustrating. I have been working on my site for days and am about to quit square all together. It shouldn't be this difficult. I hope some kind soul can give me advice this weekend as customer service isn't available until Monday. Also, I have upgraded to the Plus plan tonight as the free plan didn't allow me to charge sales tax or shipping.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give!

Julie

I have the same issue. I can't believe "Free Shipping, where available" shows under EVERY item in my small mail order store. Customers cannot see the shipping charge until they are almost ready to pay and have entered their full address for shipping. Then the flat rate shipping magically appears at the bottom of the cart. This is incredibly deceiving to customers as they shop! Often, shipping nearly doubles the cost because it's so expensive these days, so customers need a simple message that says "shipping will be calculated at check out" NOT "Free shipping, where available" or "Your order is eligible for free shipping" with a meter bar. I don't want those on there at all! From my research so far, Square/Weebly threw these on fairly recently with no option for us to remove them! Please correct me if I'm wrong, and provide clear instructions if there is a workaround. If I'm right, this is a feature request that should be at the top! Especially with the holidays upon us.

This is now showing on all our items as well.  Agree will make some customers quite upset as it looks like a bait & switch tactic as their order WILL have shipping $ added if they choose ship option.  Anyone know how to get rid of it?
