When I take coupons it takes off tax, and then I have to pay higher tax than my Gross to State, fix?

When I take coupons it takes off tax, and then I have to pay higher tax than my Gross to State, What is the fix for this?

You can set up a coupon as a method of payment, then at checkout, do a split payment with the value of the coupon as one part, and however the customer wants to pay as the balance.  This way, the sales tax will come out correct.
