Recommendations for handheld PDA type scanner for warehouse inventory?

Wondering if there is a compatible handheld PDA scanner we can use for warehouse inventory. It's a bit difficult to carry the iPad and bluetooth scanner back and forth. Would like to be able to seamlessly scan items and adjust inventory and have it on one device. We don't want our employees to download square on their phones, so wondering if the android type PDA scanners would work with the Square App downloaded. Then we could just leave that in the warehouse.

If anyone has this type of set up, please share your finds. Thank you in advance!

You can check the full list of compatible barcode scanners here.

Although there isn't one that incorporates the barcode scanner into a handheld device, you could use one of the compatible scanners and a compatible phone, for example (list of compatible devices).

Thanks for the info. That's what we currently do with an iPad and socket, but it's inconvenient especially in a warehouse setting. We'll just keep looking for other solutions.

I also looked through out list of compatible devices, knowing that Motorola and Zebra offer Android handheld computers with barcode readers, but couldn't find a device like the one you describe 😔
