Loyalty rewards technical question

Hello everyone,

So, I recently signed up for the loyalty rewards program for my business; my customers love it. My customers will accumulate points after purchasing 1 of 2 qualifying items. The 2 items have different prices. I'm using 10 points for customers to be able to redeem their free items of equal or lesser value. The problem I'm having is that the Loyalty rewards program does not differentiate products. It awards points to the 2 items equally. So, if someone accumulates 10 points by purchasing the lower priced item, the system will awardem one of the 2 qualifying items for free. I want to make it so that the points are awarded separately, for each item. So that when the customer reaches 10 points from purchasing one item, they have the option to redeem that very same item.

I will greatly appreciate any guidance or feedback.

Thank you!

J

Hi @MRALKALINEWATER! Glad to hear that your customers are loving your Loyalty program!

Setting up your Loyalty program this way is currently a feature request. Our system doesn't have the ability to separate items and only apply certain points to certain rewards. 🙁

We've heard this feedback before, and definitely see how it would be beneficial! It makes a lot of sense when you want to reward your customers for their purchases but also want to make sure that their rewards are being earned fairly.

We'll continue to pass this along to our Loyalty Product Team! Thanks so much for writing in!
