Importing Customer Info from quickbooks

Hello,

I have been using QuickBooks Online to process payments, manage expenses and so on. I now want to use Square for accepting Payments. Is there a simple way to export my customers from QuickBooks Online and send them right to square?

Thanks,

Hello @pcrs_tech

I'm not sure what information you can export from QuickBooks Online, but we do have the ability to import customer information via a CSV file.

Currently you can import a customers first name, last name, company name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.

Right now the Customer Directory does not support importing customers transaction history, or credit card information.

Hey @Chad! Thanks for the reply. I ended up doing an import by .CSV

This will take some getting used too compared to QBO and the way invoices/Discounts work.

How do I import my list of customers? I have been trying to do it to the template you have in the system but when I put import, nothing shows in the file.

Hi there, @chrismktplace! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Seller Community. So sorry for the trouble you are having with your import!

One clarifying question - are you importing directly from Quickbooks or are you importing through a CSV or Excel file? Also, can you clarify what you are experiencing with your file? - is the file empty when you select to upload?

I will keep an eye out for your response!
