Can you use apps on the newest square register?

I would like to know because I am thinking of buying the register and also wanted to used  the app called wixBooking , could i use it on the register if I buy it

Hey @doglovers - Unfortunately, you won't be able to download any apps directly onto the Square Register. However, you may be able to find the feature you're looking for through our supported integrations.

I just starting using the square register and really like it except one thing. I cant use all my other apps.  For 5 years I used an Ipad so I had access to useful apps.  I understand you guys want to make money so your only adding apps that let you make money, but simple apps like Notes or Sticky Notes or a calculator are apps that we commonly use.  I don't want to clutter my checkout counter with a calculator that I use maybe once a week but notes we use daily, so right now I still have this Ipad at my register and I want to get rid of it.  But I don't want to go back to rock and chisel (pen and paper)  Being as that I bought the register can you add some useful apps that don't require some ridiculous monthly subscription.

I moved your post to an existing thread where another seller had the same comment about adding apps to the Register.

It's best to keep requests in one place so our Product Team can easily track these requests!

Hopefully this will be something we can implement in future improvements.
