Why is my keyboard covering the "Done" button on the Square Terminal?

When customers use the custom tip option a huge keyboard pops up and entirely covers the done button. every single time I have to help them find the totally nonintuitive little button that removes the keyboard. Is there a better way? Something in settings, perhaps?

Thank you for posting in the community. I definitely would love to dive a bit deeper into this. How long has this issue been occuring? Also, is there a system update available when going through Settings > General . Software Update?
