How do you secure hardware when not in use.

We are purchaseing the new POS system and don't want to move it from the checkout.  But there are times when customers are present when there are not employees on hand.  Is there a way to secure the hardware?

When we used the iPads we could remove it and lock it up.

Any ideas?

Great question! So Square Register comes with two mounting options. You can use the adhesive (Similar to Square Stand) or screws to attach the mounting plate to your counter top. Once the mounting plate is in place you'll place the register on it with the larger screen facing to the right and turn it 90 degrees clockwise to lock it in place. 

When the register is locked in place it would take a very strong person to rip it off your counter top or break the mounting plate. If you want to lock up the register after closing you can remove it from the mounting plate by turning it counter clockwise.
