Errors When Setting Up Email via Google Workspace

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: "Setting up Email"

Ok, so I moved my website (and online store) domain to Square from my previous webhost. So Weebly now hosts my domain. I was paying the other guys to keep my email addresses functional, and just found out that I can do that through Google Workspace. So I went on to set it up and no matter what I do in the very first "let's get started" screen, i get an error. First one was
"Request failed with status code 500". I refreshed, cleared my cookies and cache (as google suggested) and tried again but this time got "Request failed with status code 419).

I have already started the 15 day trial, and I can't seem to get anything to work. I am wondering if its because the emails are already in place through another server but then I tried an email I don't currently have and got the same error, so i'm thinking its something to do with Workspace. Can anyone help?

Hi there, @CheesecakeLady  - Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Square Community.

I'm not sure of the answer to this one myself, so I'm going to consult with the Square Online Support Team on this one to get the best answer for you.

I'll reach back out to you here once I gather more info!

Having exact same problem. Now that my domain is hosted through Weebly on Square I want to get my email transferred from GoDaddy to Square. But I get a 500 error code every time I try to sign up for Google Workspace. And Square phone support has been just awful lately. Can't even get the support people to even understand the issues I'm having (this isn't the only one).

They literally basically told me "too bad, we can't figure it out". So now I'm paying my old host almost $40/month just to keep my emails active. Which is ridiculous
