[US Upcoming Beta] Looking for Testers: A New Way to Build Your Website 🪄

Hi F&B folks!

We're looking for restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, food trucks, and bars across the US to join the early beta of a website builder we've been working on. And we'd love your help shaping it.

What it is
A new way to build a custom website that expresses your brand. We pull in your existing Square data to generate a multi-page site tailored to how customers shop your kind of business. Start fresh, or bring in an existing site (yours or someone else's) for inspiration. Then customize with our editing tools or AI prompts.

What you get in beta

• Import or draw inspiration from an existing site (on or off Square), or let us build one for you
• Traditional editor (for easy edits) + AI prompt editing for bigger changes
• Custom domain connection
• Basic SEO out of the box
• Links to your Square ordering page or a third-party ordering platform

How to join
If interested in the beta, reply to this post and include a link to your current website (if you have one). From there, we'll add you to the list and follow-up with next steps when the beta rolls out.

Hey @LeahK and @gabiz !  As promised, some initial thoughts....

Here is a list of some things we would like to see improved with the Square online functionality;

• The image "slider" having more flexibility, such as changing how long each slide is displayed for.
• More functionality in the "pop up" window, such as more characters and possibly an image or link.
• Built in "accordion" functionality.  We are doing it ourselves with HMTL code, but it's not user-friendly.
• Self audit/diagnositc functionality.    If there is an issue with the website (such as a broken link or lengthy meta-tags, etc...) that a link to repair/fix (or even just a report) the issues (if any).

I think the online functionality is OK as of now, as I get other business owners in my industry saying that they really like my site (https://www.sunvalleylanes.com/ ) but I think there is still some potential.

Would still like to see what it looks like. When will this be in the pipeline you think? Thinking of switching back to shopify again, but we switched just to square to consolidate and we would like to stay that way, but it isnt working very well yet. It's killing our ecomm side.
