We're currently putting together a group of restaurant owners, servers, BOH, and other restaurant staff to help us do research and product testing. We're giving $500 in free processing credit to any owner who signs up to be a part of the restaurants research panel, and a $5 visa gift card to any staff member that signs up.

Will this involve any testing that may affect our daily operations? Would the products being tested be at our expense?

Hi @jsestby and @Shoplocal1234, Testing will not affect your daily operations. This type of research will mostly involve you, or your staff joining us for 30-45 minutes interviews, and being compensated with a Visa gift-card or free processing credit.

How often will these interviews take place? Are the "products" being tested software/apps or are they foodservice related items?
We typically have interviews taking place every few weeks, but joining is not a commitment. Research opportunities are always optional, and you can leave the panel at any time.
Testing usually involves previewing software/apps, but it will look like you giving feedback on product walk-throughs during the interviews. This sign-up is not for beta tests, where you may agree to test the product over the course of weeks or months in your restaurant. Interviews are around 30-45 minutes in length, and you'll be compensated for your time.

We are a coffee roastery (selling in person and online), and coffee shop. We do not prepare any food--only coffee, tea, and smoothies, and all of our operations are "front of house" so to speak (no kitchen behind a door/counter), although we'd love to expand in the future. We currently fall somewhere in between retail and restaurant. Would our business be helpful for your research? The restaurant function we would LOVE to be able to use is ingredient level inventory and pricing. Assigning recipes to different drinks and keeping track of coffees, teas, syrups, milks, etc.
Signed up, but @ashanth really annoying to find out by filling in the forms that it appears you have to be in the US due to the location options you can select for the profile.
