How does my site look?

Hello everyone, I just created my first website. I make candles, wax melts, beard oils, rooms sprays etc... I normally do local vending events and have gotten excellent feedback on my products so I felt like a website was needed. Please take a look and give me your most honest feedback rather be good or bad! Thanks in advance!

Hey there Redolentaromas,

Great product photos, details and easy to navigate.   The one thing that hit me was when you first access your site, there's the Sign In for Newsletter splash page.  One has to close that to continue - my thoughts are as a new customer, why would I want to sign up for a news letter before I've even seen any of your products.

Hello, I looked at your website, and I like the lower part of the pictures and colors. The only thing I don't like is the top part of the website in the area of Shop now. The black background is too large.

WOW I learnt a new word today … “Redolent” we use Evoke “ love this new word…. it’s July 2nd and says launch July 1st. We sell candles and the new video header online would look great with one of your candles burning or seeing the smoke as you blow the candle out or seeing someone inhaling what you describe in your BIO ..

As a florist selling smells on a flat screen is challenging.. Love your story xxx

About your site … you are using a shop all template

Think about who you are selling to.. are they using their mobile / Ipad / desktop?

are they using your candles to relax? Yoga ? Envigorate?

think beard oil - I wanna see a guy use the oil in his beard..

Video - short clips.. as a header then put the shop underneath.

Try using CHAT GPT .. to describe your product.. if you sign up you get 30 days free. …. Cane it.. (that’s a Uk expression to use it as much as you can in all the time you have)

I put this in BARD for your Pina Colada and added a few descriptive..

This candle sounds delicious!  It is! Tho please don’t eat it ♥️  The combination of sweet pineapples, coconut, whipped cream, orange, and vanilla sounds like it would create a tropical paradise in your home. The daquiri glass is a perfect touch, and it would make a great gift for anyone who loves the beach or summer.

Here is a more detailed description of the candle:

  • Top notes: Sweet pineapples and coconut
  • Middle notes: Whipped cream and orange
  • Base notes: Vanilla

The candle would smell amazing in a bedroom, living room, or even on a patio. It would be perfect for a summer party or just a relaxing night at home.

I would definitely recommend this candle to anyone who loves the smell of the tropics. It sounds like it would be a real treat!  Bring on Summer

The definition of "redolent" I like best is:

having qualities, especially smells, that make you think of something else

Nice layout on your store, best wishes with it!

Hi @Redolentaromas your site looks really nice, great product images, nice browsing over it.

I would say add some customer review snippets to the homepage, they are always nice to see, it builds confidence in your products with customers who have not purchased before from you. The kind of thing we have added to our website is shown below. Hope this helps. Have fun building that website! 😀
