Reordering on KDS

Here’s the scenario, especially during my busy season.

Orders come in from my window POS, from online, and possibly from third party services like DoorDash (if I have it linked).  More often than you would expect, I need to prioritize an order, or even move orders back to be prepared later (customer called and asked me to have it ready 30 minutes later, for example).  The point is, I need to move orders around in priority.

A couple of ideas:

1) Allow me to long-press on an order header and drag it to a new place on the KDS, for a visual priority (left to right, top to bottom).  That way, no matter the reason, I can reorder checks on the KDS.

2) Allow me to long-press and “pause” an order (and remove it from the KDS for now) by giving a delay time before it shows back up on the KDS.

Of course, if there are multiple attached KDS devices, a change made on one should be reflected on all of the others.

I like the idea of being able to move orders with a long press. We do that with physical tickets right now so it would be helpful to have a digital version of that. Maybe an option to make an order urgent so it bumps to the front?

This is a great need for us as well! This would help alot!

Also made this suggestion on another beta group and agree it would be a worthwhile feature.

I would be happy with a "back of the line " button if makes it easier
