Put Ability to change colors on fonts and backgrounds for email marketing Ads back in the product

Please put the ability to change the color of fonts and backgrounds on email marketing campaigns back in the program! There are 1,000's and 1,000's of articles and research on the of color on how it affects buying decisions. What were you possibly thinking of taking us back into a black and white worlds of the 50's??   With all due respect, this is like trying to operate in the dark ages. I worked in systems development for Target corporation for years & our belief was, if we don't work for the stores (or ecommerce) directly, we work for someone who works for someone that works for the stores.  Without the stores / ecommerce, you don't have a job.  I find the way Square prioritizes projects, fixes, etc. to be completely behind the scenes & not necessarily helpful for those of us who use the product.  The fact that this feature was taken away & hasn't been "turned back on" is mind blowing.  And the fact that there is no, zero, nada, zilch communication about it is very very sad.  Do better.  We don't expect perfection.  But please do better.

By the way - anyone notice you can change the font color on these messages???  Ironic, isn't it?

Thanks for posting this @1920. I'm still wishing for the font color change in a big way. And truthfully more robust Square Marketing overall!

It's almost next year and this still isn't fixed. 

They did manage to increase their prices though, so that's nice.

Square please get your crap together this has been broken for a whole year.

I assume this feature was removed to “comply” with device OS theme settings of “Light” and “Dark”. I know our emails look entirely different now depending on what customer device preferences are set at.

@guesthouse Perhaps but the default and only text color is a gray which is worse than setting the default color to black (which would then be forced to white with Dark theme). Instead it's a weird gray and another weird gray which, based on WCAG 2.0 standards, is pretty terrible middle ground considering there are better options.
