Put Ability to change colors on fonts and backgrounds for email marketing Ads back in the product

Please put the ability to change the color of fonts and backgrounds on email marketing campaigns back in the program! There are 1,000's and 1,000's of articles and research on the of color on how it affects buying decisions. What were you possibly thinking of taking us back into a black and white worlds of the 50's??   With all due respect, this is like trying to operate in the dark ages. Below is part of an article regarding the issue:

The Psychology of Colors in Marketing and Branding
For retailers and most outlets, marketing is an art of persuasion. Many different factors influence the buying decision. When marketing new products, it’s critical that you consider the impact of colors on the buying decision. Research shows that the proper use of color increases brand recognition by 80%. It also raises the visual appearance by 93%. A further 85% of consumers buy because of color.

Day 1 of bumping this thread until I can start sending out emails again that don't look like absolute **bleep**.

Thank you everyone for voting on this Feature Request. We checked in with our Product Team responsible for Marketing and this is not currently on the roadmap. If anything changes, we'll be sure to let you all know.

Bring back the Emil font colors.

Switched to Mailchimp and never looked back.  Sad that Square doesn't listen to their customers.

Hey Nika, what do you mean its not on the roadmap? Is this going to remain broken indefinitely? Should we all be looking elsewhere for marketing solutions?

It previously had a color option why would they remove it in the first place. Upgraded to the new plan slowly starting to regret it sadly can’t go back to my old plan.

@RBTGames2020 It doesn't mean indefinitely, it just means that it's not currently something our teams are working on. We keep these feature requests here so that the more folks comment on the need for different functions, the more of a use case there is when our Product Teams look at what to start working on next.

Ok but do you understand that this was something that existed and was removed? It's not like were asking for anything new or groundbreaking. we're asking for old, extremely important functionality to be re-added so we can send email that don't look like slop to our customers. The fact that this wasn't being worked on the second it was broken is what concerns me, especially since prices have only gone up. Take features away, increase prices, and when we ask you to fix it, you basically tell us that it may get done someday?

Terrible business practice.

Agreed @RBTGames2020! Loss of Feature does not equal Feature Request! Loss of Feature equals correct the loss!
