Music App for Square Online

We can do images and videos, but not music/audio players on our Square Online sites. There isn't an app with the Square App Marketplace already and we are longer able to integrate Weebly apps with Square Online. Please either make audio files compatible with the video player or provide an app to replace all the great options we had from Weebly.

@Ravenscroft  Welcome to the community!  Square Online was built for quick, simple e-commerce — not as a full multimedia site builder like Weebly once was. It currently supports images, text, and videos (via direct upload or YouTube/Vimeo), but audio functionality wasn’t included in their newer toolset. There is workaround:

Services like:

• SoundCloud

• Spotify (for podcasts or music)

• Anchor.fm

• Buzzsprout or Podbean

These platforms give you an embed code (iframe), which you can add via:

Square Online → Site Editor → Section → Embed Code

Below is a sample code to embed  Soundcloud.

It would be if Embed Code wasn't $29-$32 a month. 😕 I don't want or need 95% of what Square's "Plus" plan provides.

Also for the record, the audio is part of my e-commerce. I'm a musician, selling CDs. Would be nice to be able to have a sample track on my landing page.

Here is an idea, I know it won't be perfect but it could get audio on your site. You know how people put up songs on YouTube with a static album cover? You could do one with your music and and upload it using the video section.

Thank you, that is ultimately what I think I will have to do for now. But still, hoping for an audio section in the future!
