Add "Schedule for pickup" functionality to the Square register and Restaurant POS app

Hoping to bring attention to this thread and request.

In short, we need the ability to set the pickup time when we take a phone orders. 

Per the reply given on the above linked thread, apparently this can be done in the "regular" POS app but not in the Restaurant App OR the Square register???

How is this not a core function of the restaurant app and register?

Pizza Americana here again, thanks for the reminder PizzaCo. This is needed asap, KDS can handle the online ordered scheduled in advance. The POS should be able to handle the schedule ahead orders as well. 

As I said before, the fact that any development cycles are being spent on anything other than this is absolutely mind boggling to me.

Hey Team, I'm after this as well.  We're another Pizza business and use online ordering but receive a large number of over the counter and phone orders as well.  We still run printed dockets as it's the only way to organise the timing of all order types together. I would love to be able to set times for Pickup/Phone/Delivery  orders and fit them in the appropriate time slot for our team so we can finally use KDS appropriately!  

Sourdough bread bakery here - this would be incredibly helpful feature for pre-orders and catering requests at our cafe!

   Me again, just checking if any progress has been made to get this feature implemented. I believe this thread has been around since 2022 but I haven't heard any updates from square as to if this is being looked into or not. Can someone from square chime in and let us know if this is being considered? Thanks!!

We would LOVE to have this feature.  We do online ordering, but still have quite a few phone orders.  There is no way to have them show up in the order list in the appropriate time.  What we do is name the ticket "Customer Name, Pickup Time, NP" (NP=not paid, so it doesn't get put out on the pick-up table).  Then at least the kitchen can order the tickets appropriately.  But it isn't great for checking them off, or for the person expediting to keep track of which order is coming up next.
