First request: Include service booked in the text notification to staff
Adding service booked to the text notification to staff would be helpful.
How our staff is currently using the text notifications:
- Read notification text, get the date and time
- Open Appointments app
- Use the date and time to find the appointment
- See what service was booked
Ideally:
- Read notification, get date, time, and service booked.
For example: Hi "Staff", you have a new appointment with "Client" for a "Service booked" on "Date" at "Time".
Second request: Link in text notification to staff redirect to the Appointments app
The "View details at squareup.com/..." link included in the text notification to staff currently redirects to squareup on browser. It would be more helpful if the appointment details link can redirect to the Appointments app instead of a browser link.
None of our staff use this link from the notifications but they would use the link if it redirects to the Appointments app. Even better if it redirects to the specific appointment.
Initially my request was to be able to customize notifications sent to staff (similar to custom notifications sent to clients) but these solutions are great as well.
