Larger font size for kitchen printers

The kitchen tickets are hard to read because the font is so small. It would be great if the item font was larger with the modifiers being a bit small than the item.

Hey @kristen I'm wondering if you have any update on this?   It was posted back in March that an update was coming but nothing and JJ didn't reply to my last request for an update.

Hey everyone, you can now customize the fonts size (small, medium, or large) on your kitchen tickets, and also configure the layout to make it more compact. This will apply to both in-person and online order tickets on iPad, Android, Square Register, Square Terminal, and Square Handheld.

From the announcement. Both options work on thermal printers only (not impact printers)

Kitchen and bar printers are not thermal, so we still can't change the font size on the ones that  need larger fonts. Dang.

Really appreciate you flagging this @kimapollo! From what I can find, there appears to be some conflicting information being shared externally. The team behind this feature has been testing with impact printers (primarily the Star SP700) and this should now be working.

When you have a chance, let me know if you see the option to adjust the font sizes for printer station using impact printer and if you are able to print out larger ticket! If it still doesn't work, I can definitely flag this to our team to ensure the feature is working.

 Thanks for your reply. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but I see no option to change the font size when I navigate to printer profiles.  Am I in the right place?

To make sure they can investigate this thoroughly, would you mind also confirming:

• The exact version of the Square software you're currently running
• The device you are using and the operating software currently running on it
• The model of your printer

This will help us a lot!
