delete and edit coupons

I would like to be able to delete coupons that have expired and edit the ones I have made a simple mistake on rather than canceling it and making a whole new coupon that I can not later delete.  This used to be an option.

I have also contacted the customer support for the same reason and they said that we can't delete the coupons. 

I think it's not user-friendly since on my end, I need to create a big load of one time use coupon. Once used, I don't need the coupon anymore in my list.

The customer service said it's kept for history like a receipt. I can understand why it is important to keep a proof for the receipt but at least having them moved into another folder for those who are expired, cancelled or used.

I do know you can delete discounts

i often will update a coupon for a season or change what is in the coupon.

Yes the coupons should be able to be archived and then be able to reinstated.

Also I feel you should be able to duplicate a coupon because you like the format (change the title or what is included in the items or maybe even change the dates that is active) very much like we have the ability to do with items.

we can do this with items - it is very handy
