Improve auto inventory add and remove

It would be great if we could choose different inventory quantities to auto populate per day. Like 5 butter croissants on Monday and 10 on Tuesday. More importantly, we need a feature that will zero items out each night. Again certain items are only good for one day and we get them in daily. Without these features we can't realistically offer online ordering because our inventory tracking is too cumbersome and not accurate enough

Hello @bluesparrow .   This seems to be a somewhat unique request and I'm trying to understand it a bit better.

When you say "auto populate per day", where would that number come from?  Are you saying that it would always be Mondays is x, Tuesdays is y, Wednesdays is z?   What about cyclical or seasonal variations?   How would that work?

As a possible solution, could you just export your item library at the start of every day, go through and update the quantity in the spreadsheet and reimport it?  Unless you are talking hundres of items, I wouldn't think that would take but maybe 5 or 10 minutes/day.  Would this possibly work for you?
