The problem is when the buyer places an order for local delivery and clicks on the address button to enter the recipients address she is not prompted for a name!, only an address! We created a modifier reminding the buyer to give us the recipients name, because many forget.
It is very confusing in the check out but also with any subsequent Notification emails etc .
Because info in the modifier stays with the product info not the full filment info.
Right now the notification email lists the buyers name right above the recipients address!

Square always assumes that buyers ship to themselves when ordering local delivery, which is not always the case. This needs to be addressed as any business in the gift industry, flower shops, chocolate shops etc struggle with this setup.
Attached is a print out of a typical online gift order.
An easy solution would be, if a customer selects the "Gift Option" the subsequent popup address window asks for Name and phone number in addition to just address
If anyone has a work-around, I'd love to hear it!
