Feature Request: Quick-Fixed Amount Tap-to-Donate

I would like to request a feature that allows Square terminals (or Tap and Go) to process a fixed donation amount automatically when a card is tapped, without requiring manual item selection and checkout confirmation each time.

This would be particularly useful for collecting donations, where each donor contributes a set amount (e.g., £2). Instead of manually selecting a donation amount and processing each transaction through the app, the terminal could be set to instantly charge a pre-configured amount upon card tap.

This feature would streamline the donation process, making it quicker and easier for both donors and organizations, particularly in high-traffic or fundraising environments.

We are using an alternative provider for this currently and would love for it to move over to square!

Thanks for post, and welcome to the Community! 

I can certainly understand why this would be useful in a fundraising environment. However, implementing a feature like this may be tricky, as an assumption would need to be made regarding buyer consent. 

That being said, our product team does regularly review the Ideate board when considering ways to improve workflows for our Sellers. So, the use case you've provided may lead to discussions around a potential solution, or optimisation to the checkout flow.
