Dark mode

I was looking for the dark mode setting, but just couldn’t find it! 

A dark mode would look slick for most of us - we’re often in a low light situation and the bright screen looks a bit crazy.

I second this, a dark mode on Square Register is needed

Thanks for your post and for lending your support to this feature request. Dark Mode for the Square Register to offer more feature parity between platforms has certainly been a recent talking point for our engineers, however, this is still not roadmapped yet. If this is implemented, you’ll hear about it first on the product update board!

Dark mode is soo much nicer on the eyes

I'd like to add my voice to the Dark Mode crowd. I have to open a new tab specifically for my Square Invoice page so I don't go blind when I switch over to write an invoice.

I've been hunting for a Dark Mode option for years now. I go blind every time I open the app on desktop, and the phone app at night. 

In Dashboard, go to Settings, then Device Management, then find the specific device you want to change.  Click on that device and a window will pop up on the right.  In the "Applications used" section, click "Manage" next to "Square for Restaurants."  Click the ">" next to "App theme."  Now you can select "Dark theme."

 

I don't see this option for the standard Square POS, only on Square for Restaurants.
