Allow customers to apply coupon/promo codes during Square Appointments online checkout

Hi Square Team,

I’d love to request a feature that allows customers to apply coupon or promo codes directly during the Square Appointments online booking checkout flow.

Currently, coupon codes can be created inside Square Marketing/Online, however there does not appear to be a way for customers to enter these codes when booking appointments through the native Square Appointments booking page.

This would be extremely valuable for service businesses like barbershops, salons, tattoo studios, beauty clinics, etc.

Examples of how businesses could use this:

• Slow day promotions (e.g. Monday specials)
• New client offers
• Staff-specific promotions
• Loyalty/re-engagement campaigns
• SMS and email marketing campaigns
• Seasonal promotions

At the moment, businesses appear to have to manually apply discounts in POS after the appointment, which creates:

• extra staff steps
• customer confusion
• difficulty tracking marketing performance
• inconsistent customer experience

A simple “Add promo code” field during appointment checkout would make Square Appointments significantly more powerful for marketing and customer retention.

Would love to see this added ASAP.

This has been a longtime feature request made by service based sellers like us. I am sure there are plenty other similar posts in the feature request thread. 

We would love to see this soon as well. Hoping @DinaLRosenberg  and @JessPoynter  kudo this post to gain some traction.

This would be amazing. We actually just ran a special that people got a free service when they made a purchase of a certain amount. We're tracking via spreadsheet. Completely unnecessary.
