Early feedback: Ask questions about your business on Dashboard App

Hello everyone!

I'm Harsh and I work on the Dashboard App across iOS and Android as well as Square AI. I'm looking for some early feedback on our Square AI experience for the Dashboard app which allows you to ask questions about your business in everyday language. For instance you could ask:

• What are my top selling items from last month?
• Who are my most valuable customers?
• How does my order volume vary by time of day/week?

I've been banging on this for a while now thanks to @alexschiff , and I can say that this is an absolutely amazing addon to the dashboard app! 

I've asked various questions from comparing last year to this year sales, percentage of loyalty customers, and some forecasting models. The answers have always been spot on! Kudos to the dev team!

To be honest this is the first I’ve heard about Square AI being tied into the dashboard app. I use the dashboard app a lot and just looked at it again and I honestly don’t see anything about AI or how to access it

Same, never was told about the AI functionality. Do you have any content on specifically how it works?

Not yet. Turns out it’s Beta so you have to go to the Beta hub and submit a join request so they turn on the function for your account

I also have been exploring this quite a bit and have used it to create data output about specific item sales and specific category sales that I couldn't do in the general report. 

One of my favorites is the ability to quickly and easily see for each location any transactions that include a certain item and to break it down by location and then to go further and determine the top day and time of day for that item. 

I've also tried some forecasting as well as labor versus sales advanced questions. 

It all seems to be very intuitive and nice to be able to ask questions in general sentences and get out the answers that match what I'm looking for. 

Thanks to the Square Team for putting this together. It is definitely a very nice feature that I think will be utilized quite heavily.

Yes absolutely! Currently I have to do all of the square AI queries on the dashboard on my laptop through the browser. But I am often on the go and it would be great to be able to experience it on my mobile device as well.

Thanks for reaching out! I too have been using the AI for a significant amount of time and you guys have been very responsive to my initial feedback as you have developed this. Love it! happy to answer anything specific you might want to know more about how we use it, but its been a wonderful help for quick queries and more detailed explorations

Thank you all! My apologies for not clarifying this earlier - the Square AI experience on the Dashboard app (iOS and Android) is still a closed beta; whereas the web/desktop experience is now more widely available.
