I'm Harsh and I work on the Dashboard App across iOS and Android as well as Square AI. I'm looking for some early feedback on our Square AI experience for the Dashboard app which allows you to ask questions about your business in everyday language. For instance you could ask:

I also have been exploring this quite a bit and have used it to create data output about specific item sales and specific category sales that I couldn't do in the general report.
One of my favorites is the ability to quickly and easily see for each location any transactions that include a certain item and to break it down by location and then to go further and determine the top day and time of day for that item.
I've also tried some forecasting as well as labor versus sales advanced questions.
It all seems to be very intuitive and nice to be able to ask questions in general sentences and get out the answers that match what I'm looking for.
Thanks to the Square Team for putting this together. It is definitely a very nice feature that I think will be utilized quite heavily.
I use dark mode and I get some lag in the ui if I am going in and out of the app
I was able to capture it in screenshots. Not a big issue for me at all, sharing for devs FYI.

I'd love to be part of the Beta. Curious, are you all enabling to ask real AI questions on the data or is more of a close scope? Meaning for example, would you all allow to ask about trends on my store data like projecting next day, or weekly sales based on historical data?
Either way, I'd love to play with it and share feedback

I'd love to join this beta and try it out on the dashboard app! I've been playing a bit on the web app, but I open/use the iOS dashboard app probably a dozen times a day, so am super curious what AI would add to that!

Knowing you as I do, I am sure you will be hooked once it is enabled. So many great questions that can be answered with the Square AI, and even easier on the Dashboard App!
Plus, it keeps adapting to be able to answer more questions. It is moving quickly in a great direction.

For the Dashboard App, the AI component is somewhat overwhelming. Below are a few ways we have used it:
Menu's:
We have used it to program our POS menus (see photo) to show the TOP 10 selling items by smoothie category. By asking, "What are my top-selling items from last month?", we can add those items to the main menu. This reduces the amount of time spent ringing up popular items.
Feature Request: It would be great to add this option permanently to optimize the best way to program the menu.
Loyalty Optimization:
We have reviewed our Loyalty Program and asked the AI, "When it comes to our loyalty program, can you analyze Purchase Patterns to determine when loyalty customers are most active?" - It yielded some pretty incredible data.
Loyalty Optimization (Follow Up Question):
Can you identify any particular pattern to determine why customers are visiting more on Wednesdays? (See screenshots)
Key Observations:
These figures are based on sales data from May 27, 2025 to June 25, 2025 (PDT). Reported dollar values are in USD.
The higher discounts and comps on Wednesday could be a factor in attracting more customers, along with potentially better customer service as indicated by higher tips. If you have specific promotions or events on Wednesdays, these could also contribute to increased customer visits.

I have been diving into the AI world for our business. I’ve even used it on our POS system to help write descriptions of products. I look forward to more opportunities for AI to be involved in Square.
