Hi! I am currently @ 49% paid of my 8th loan with square. Typically offers have come in at around 50-60% since. I have seen a few people mentioning that they now do a soft credit pull and am wondering if this pertains to personal credit or business credit?

New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid, but your business may become eligible for a new offer when your existing plan is closer to being repaid. This timing helps to ensure a significant portion of a new loan can be used to reinvest in your business directly rather than repaying your existing loan balance.

Keep in mind that we can’t guarantee that another offer will be extended before or after the current plan is complete. Repaying your existing plan does not guarantee that your business will be eligible for another offer.

I'm curious about the credit card? Did that pop up randomly?

I’ve had it since November 2024. I believe it was random.

I had it pop up in January of "you're on the list" and to wait for an offer but nothing other than that.

Mine did around 5:38 pm, I’m normally 1-2 pm. It’s not unusual to be off after the holidays. Good luck to you and everyone waiting!

Update with my few locations 

1st - 69% received an offer almost 2 months ago. 
2nd -85% no offer (sales are up)

3rd- 94% no offer (consistent ) 

4th- 72% no offer ( sales are up) 

5th - 63% no offer ( sales are up) my busiest 

If I’ll compare it on the past loans,on these paid off percentage in each stores? 
I should get offers by now.. 

each stores have different characteristics.

couple of them experience the glitch yesterday the others didn’t. 
if all of these stores don’t get any offer soon? That will be so interesting.. 

square need to at least get it together

Keep in mind, when determining eligibility, each location is regularly evaluated for loan offers based on many different factors, including each location’s history with Square and its payment processing volume. Each offer will be tied directly to the card processing from each individual location with a maximum of one loan offer per eligible location.

We are officially on uncharted territory. 

All markers are green and I am at 78% repayment. 

The first time in 6 years it's gone this long with the same generic response from Square.

What are your other numbers like? Up for the year? And by how big of a percentage? How many loans have you had in the past? Do you also have the Square credit card?

My brother got an offer last month at only 45% paid, and he’s barely above even over last year, so the offers do appear to be totally random.

Wow. Really? My processing is up 90% from last year. Meaning my sales have almost doubled. Everything good and paid off but nothing.

Yes, I was very surprised! I’m up 32% over last year, which was up 30% over the year before that, so steady growth on my end.

I’m sitting at 64% of my 24th loan in 12 years, my most recent being from October and the highest ever. It was offered to me at 65%, so we’ll see what happens over the next couple of weeks! I’m hoping for a BIG one.

My last one was in October too but it's paid off now. It was a couple hundred less than my biggest one but it makes sense because I was closed for two weeks in May and two in June last year due to flooding.

Hello, great to see you again! Not always under these circumstances though. It’s nice to see that business is doing great! That’s one thing I have noticed since around March people are doubling their sales to tripling them year over year for the last few years. That’s amazing! Small business is killing it. Good luck to you. As you can see it’s a roller coaster ride here. It’s a surprise 60-70% or upper 80-90s to paid off. Hopefully, soon for everyone and clear this board out. Great to see you again and thanks for your updates!

Just providing an update from my end— 100% paid off as of yesterday (36k). So just waiting for it to completely settle + fingers crossed for something super soon!
