Square loans 2026

Hi! I am currently @ 49% paid of my 8th loan with square. Typically offers have come in at around 50-60% since. I have seen a few people mentioning that they now do a soft credit pull and am wondering if this pertains to personal credit or business credit?

New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid, but your business may become eligible for a new offer when your existing plan is closer to being repaid. This timing helps to ensure a significant portion of a new loan can be used to reinvest in your business directly rather than repaying your existing loan balance.

Keep in mind that we can’t guarantee that another offer will be extended before or after the current plan is complete. Repaying your existing plan does not guarantee that your business will be eligible for another offer.

I received an offer tonight but it was less than half of my current loan. Its really not even worth taking it. I'm dissapointed to say the least as my company has grown 3x in processing since my first loan. Oh well 😔

I'm sorry it's not what you expected. Maybe it will increase to an amount that would be worth it if you waited a day or two.

I declined it. Its just strange because I can make that amount in a month plus. I was expecting more. Oh well.

Same-- It is awful... I have 3 businesses that use square... I have all my loans in the good.. my daily sales at each location have been through the roof... and nothing.. zip... nada... and the only thing square "helpers" have to say is the same ole generic stuff.... Luckily I don't have to rely on square loans but they are very helpful with getting new equipment... Sadly I guess this is how it is.

Almost paid off on a $45k loan. I want to keep my lending with Square, I've been with them since 2015 but I guess it's time for me to move on? Idk. It's just so easy and I never think about payments because the minimum is always paid within 7-10 days. I've been looking elsewhere so we'll see.

I will never tell anyone what or who to do business with. Just remember, it's a sales rep, and they promise the moon. Unfortunately, I have seen my fair share of that here over the years. You start at the bottom and work your way up until most are six months to a year, depending on your processing, and it will be an algorithm also used for your offer. I understand the importance and the uncertainty of whether or not you'll receive another offer. You're killing it with the numbers—it's amazing, congrats on that! I wish there were a set percentage, and if you exceed it, you would know what steps to take to increase sales and volume of swipes. Regardless of your decision, I wish you continued success! I also hope you get an offer tonight! 🫣

I received one today at 74% sales tripled and 5k lower than the previous offer. I usually get an instant response within 15 minutes but nothing yet but it’s only been 3-4 hours. Best wishes to you. I watch all the pages and they are starting to move.

Thanks for that! I had to stop looking at the other pages. I feel bad that people that have proven themselves loyal and have always paid back are feeling discarded. It is disheartening to see.

Hi all! Just giving an update-- I am at 89% pay off on a 34k loan, always pay the minimum super fast. This is my 7th square loan, so fingers crossed for something soon! On my loan page, when I click 'Your next loan' it only shows Thanks for your interest in Square loans etc, I don't actually have the metrics there anymore and I haven't for a while now. There definitely are offers going out, because since my business is a part of franchise it will tell me I am pre-approved in the notifications, however when I click it, it says I am not eligible, so assuming it is for another franchise location!

It seems very quiet recently, anyone got any offers recently? 
I was wondering if square will ever try to explain to their customers a specific algorithm rather than AI  run. 

I mean might as well give an offer when the full loan is paid off rather than you don’t know when will you even get an offer. just saying

Yes, the boards have finally picked up. I received one sales up big time! It was less than previous offer. I was 74% paid off.

got an offer at 60% !!! Have had this loan for only 5 months. But it came at a time of need to replace some equipment and I cried when I opened up the app today. Just thought I’d share I know not everyone gets to see that some times the low percent still does bring in offers.
