Hi! I am currently @ 49% paid of my 8th loan with square. Typically offers have come in at around 50-60% since. I have seen a few people mentioning that they now do a soft credit pull and am wondering if this pertains to personal credit or business credit?

New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid, but your business may become eligible for a new offer when your existing plan is closer to being repaid. This timing helps to ensure a significant portion of a new loan can be used to reinvest in your business directly rather than repaying your existing loan balance.

Keep in mind that we can’t guarantee that another offer will be extended before or after the current plan is complete. Repaying your existing plan does not guarantee that your business will be eligible for another offer.

I received one today at 74% sales tripled and 5k lower than the previous offer. I usually get an instant response within 15 minutes but nothing yet but it’s only been 3-4 hours. Best wishes to you. I watch all the pages and they are starting to move.

Thanks for that! I had to stop looking at the other pages. I feel bad that people that have proven themselves loyal and have always paid back are feeling discarded. It is disheartening to see.

Hi all! Just giving an update-- I am at 89% pay off on a 34k loan, always pay the minimum super fast. This is my 7th square loan, so fingers crossed for something soon! On my loan page, when I click 'Your next loan' it only shows Thanks for your interest in Square loans etc, I don't actually have the metrics there anymore and I haven't for a while now. There definitely are offers going out, because since my business is a part of franchise it will tell me I am pre-approved in the notifications, however when I click it, it says I am not eligible, so assuming it is for another franchise location!

It seems very quiet recently, anyone got any offers recently? 
I was wondering if square will ever try to explain to their customers a specific algorithm rather than AI  run. 

I mean might as well give an offer when the full loan is paid off rather than you don’t know when will you even get an offer. just saying

Yes, the boards have finally picked up. I received one sales up big time! It was less than previous offer. I was 74% paid off.

got an offer at 60% !!! Have had this loan for only 5 months. But it came at a time of need to replace some equipment and I cried when I opened up the app today. Just thought I’d share I know not everyone gets to see that some times the low percent still does bring in offers.

The soft credit report has always been an option. It doesn’t guarantee approval nor deny it every time or for every loan. Square considers your business history, your previous loan activity, and your time with Square in its assessment.

I'm reading these comments. I'm in the same boat. I paid off my loan 100 percent and got great sales, no disputes, new and returning clients. But no loan offer. I really don't understand how Square loan works.  It use to be you knew when you where getting a loan.

That's what it seems like. I think I'm going to start looking fir other ways to get business loans. I hate this because I been with them awhile and been using Square swiping nonstop even now that I don't gave an offer.

I have stayed with Square because of the ease, dependability, consistency but it's not like that anymore.

Does Stripe offer business loans as well?
