Hi! I am currently @ 49% paid of my 8th loan with square. Typically offers have come in at around 50-60% since. I have seen a few people mentioning that they now do a soft credit pull and am wondering if this pertains to personal credit or business credit?
Appreciate you taking the time to post.
New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid, but your business may become eligible for a new offer when your existing plan is closer to being repaid. This timing helps to ensure a significant portion of a new loan can be used to reinvest in your business directly rather than repaying your existing loan balance.
Keep in mind that we canโt guarantee that another offer will be extended before or after the current plan is complete. Repaying your existing plan does not guarantee that your business will be eligible for another offer.
Donโt hesitate to contact us directly if you have further questions or concerns.
Here we go!!! 1 more down. It can take 1-3 days, depending on the day of the week and the time you received it. Just watch your dashboard; if no information is needed, it's just a tad behind. There's been a big push! Congratulations again!
Thats great! Ya they seemed to have tightened up. Ive always had my loans paid within about 4-5 months. Im at 54% all green (always all green) and no offer. our first offer 14,600/ 2nd offer 21.200 and this loan was 46,200.00 In about 3.5 months we have paid in 54% Funny thing is my sales dipped from last month , only because im near Tahoe, and all of th ski parks closed early. We own a catering and private chef business. Although my sales are down from last month, they are 453% over last year at this time, so go figure lol. Good luck to everyone but i would love another offer to get bulked up for our season, but I dont think tht is going to happen anytime soon. Below is from Square:)My sales last month was the largest sales month in March that I have ever had in my 15 years, over 66k.
Here's how April 2026 compares to last year:
April 1โ20, 2026: $20,147 (19 orders)
April 1โ20, 2025: $3,766 (5 orders)
Your sales this year are actually 435% higher than the same period last year. That suggests either your business has grown significantly since 2025, or last April was also impacted by seasonal weather.
If last year's April was similarly slow due to weather, it reinforces that this is a seasonal pattern for your business.
Hi @CRMHC19 & @Srachurros !
Thanks for keeping everyone updated.
Congratulations on the new offers! Please let me know if there's anything we can help with or if you have any questions.
Please contact us directly if you have any other questions.
Iโm at 93% of my first loan , anxious to see the new offer I should get , this one was $5200, I donโt know if my next will be higher, thatโs my first time ๐
It's been a good decade, but my first -fourth-5th loan was a little bouncy. We didn't have all the metrics and high-tech stuff like we do now, or at least they weren't available to us. Loan 6 is about where mine grew, along with my business. Your Square history is just as important as all your other stats. Good luck to you!
No one has really posted. Hopefully that means people have been getting good news and just didn't update! Good luck to those still waiting!
I'm at 90% paid off nothing yet!
It's been a crazy late winter early spring for loans. Good luck, I will be watching for you!
I think I saw a 10k no-interest short term loan float through the other day. Interesting product to bump cashflow and get you to try the products.
Are some of these options only offered to some businesses and not others? I havenโt seen anything new advertised - just the regular loan offer.
@CRMHC19 each program has its own eligibility requirements and restrictions. If you have not received offers for other products (such as the Square Credit Card) then you are not eligible yet.
I'm sorry. It's disheartening, especially when you're doing everything right and things aren't consistent.
It's like this every loan. The only time I received an early payoff was the time before my current loan and I only owed $650 dollars. The other 6 loans were totally paid off for at least 2 weeks before I received an offer.
I received an offer tonight but it was less than half of my current loan. Its really not even worth taking it. I'm dissapointed to say the least as my company has grown 3x in processing since my first loan. Oh well ๐
I'm sorry it's not what you expected. Maybe it will increase to an amount that would be worth it if you waited a day or two.
I declined it. Its just strange because I can make that amount in a month plus. I was expecting more. Oh well.
Same-- It is awful... I have 3 businesses that use square... I have all my loans in the good.. my daily sales at each location have been through the roof... and nothing.. zip... nada... and the only thing square "helpers" have to say is the same ole generic stuff.... Luckily I don't have to rely on square loans but they are very helpful with getting new equipment... Sadly I guess this is how it is.
I believe I saw one person post. Nothing huge is happening. You've got to be very close to paid off?
Almost paid off on a $45k loan. I want to keep my lending with Square, I've been with them since 2015 but I guess it's time for me to move on? Idk. It's just so easy and I never think about payments because the minimum is always paid within 7-10 days. I've been looking elsewhere so we'll see.
I will never tell anyone what or who to do business with. Just remember, it's a sales rep, and they promise the moon. Unfortunately, I have seen my fair share of that here over the years. You start at the bottom and work your way up until most are six months to a year, depending on your processing, and it will be an algorithm also used for your offer. I understand the importance and the uncertainty of whether or not you'll receive another offer. You're killing it with the numbersโit's amazing, congrats on that! I wish there were a set percentage, and if you exceed it, you would know what steps to take to increase sales and volume of swipes. Regardless of your decision, I wish you continued success! I also hope you get an offer tonight! ๐ซฃ
You've always been so supportive and friendly in this group. It's always appreciated. ๐
You are so welcome!
