I sell all custom pieces. How do I list an item as SOLD and make it unavailable to be added to someone's cart, but leave it on my webpage so that customers can see my work and past items?
So I only have 1 of everything. When I put stock as only 1, it automatically says low stock alert. I don't want that. Also, if I don't want the low stock alert, then it lets someone put as many quantities of that item in their cart as they want. How do I fix this so it works for me?
I'm new to this too, but have discovered that there is an option on the square input screen for a low stock alert. Make sure this is off. I've also tried acting like the customer on the online store, and square will not allow me to put more into the cart than there is in inventory. My problem is getting it so the online store does not show an item if there is no inventory.. . .
Well, you might want to ask Weebly. They got back to me with an answer within hours. I know you can "hide" it from showing up.
This is my first online store and I find it's harder than it looks. Now I have to get it out there and get some customers. I don't know about you, but with this Covid, all of my shows have been cancelled and I need to make some sales.
Hi! Will this prevent someone from ordering multiple of the same item? I sell one of a kind items too, but it seems like the buyer has the option to add more than one item.
If I don’t set the inventory to one it gives buyers the option to purchase multiple of the same item.
I guess I am doing something wrong. When I post something in my store everything is given the option to purchase additional quantities. Is there a setting I need to select for one of a kind items? **Note** not everything I see is one of a kind.
I just don’t want someone trying to purchase 2 or 3 of something I only have one of... and setting up the inventory has too many steps. Not to mention the Square and Weebley item sections are different and don’t match up. Same for when I post items from my phone half the time the pictures don’t carry over or something doesn’t match square. It’s very frustrating. I have ended up having to do everything twice.
I also sell only OOAK items. This issue occurred to me just yesterday, so I tried to purchase multiples of one of my items, and YES, it did put 3 in my cart! I've checked all the advice posted here to be sure I'm not set up improperly, but it still didn't prevent me from putting 3 in my cart.
Will be following this thread closely. Fingers crossed for myself and all you folks who are trying to get your online biz up and running during this challenging time! 😷
