I have chosen the phone number optional in the checkout settings but when I test it, it is still saying field required. Any ideas. I don't want customers to have to enter their phone number if they don't want to.

In order to make sure i'm understanding, what website builder did you use to create your site (Wix, Weebly, GoDaddy, WooCommerce etc.)? Also, can you provide the URL to your website/page? Thank you!

This is a MAJOR ISSUE.
You are hurting your customers by lowering conversion rates.
The option to disable (not just make optional) the phone number field during checkout is critical.
I do not have the option to to disable this. I have spoken with customer support and confirmed they are not able to see the option on my account either!
