estimates from square store

I am looking into setting up a square store to use as a base for sending estimates to customers.

Background:

I am already using the Square POS at farmers' markets where I sell meat. I have a website but do not sell from it. Currently, I have customers preorder for pick-up or delivery via an email form because I sell by the pound and have to weigh each item before pricing it. After receiving the order request, I send an invoice through square.

GOAL:

I would like to be able to use the square store platform (no sales version) in place of the email form as a means for my customers to submit an order request (estimate) that I could adjust and send back as an invoice. All payments would be done on the invoice end, not through the online store.

Rational:

Setting the system up this way would allow me to track inventory (by total lbs.) more easily (on one platform). It's more professional and cleaner looking, and I am able to provide more detailed information as well as photos.

Is this possible?

Hi there @mkpantalo

Thanks for providing us with a detailed explanation of what you wish to accomplish. It sounds like you're wanting to replace the email form you're currently using with our square store platform. You can do this by using the contact form feature of our website builder. With the contact form, you can add custom fields to request the necessary data from your customers. At that point, you can continue to use the invoice feature offered by Square to accept payments. Take a look at this Weebly article on how you can Add a Contact Form to Your Website.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
