the gray and white is very hard to see. I would prefer if the available time could be a different color. any possibility of customizing the appointment calendar colors?

Currently you can't customize the colors of the Appointments Calendar, but it's an interesting suggestion! 🙂
I often wonder this. The grey does not contrast enough with the white available times, to stand out.
