What is best practices for ticket sales and merchandise sales at a small theater ?

When I sell a product in my online store, I see the transaction in the physical store too. When I sell a "ticket" online, I don't see it. Is this a feature or a bug?

Then, we do I get paid for online ticket sales?

Hey @PierreL, welcome back to the Community! 

 

Hmm, you should see completed Square Online Store sales, for both items and tickets sold online, from the Transactions section of the Point of Sale app (see image below).

 

Did you set up a separate location for your events or for your online store? To see the sales for another location you'll have to sign out of the app. When you sign back in you'll see the option to choose a location and you can choose the appropriate one to see these online store sales.

 

If you don't have another location it could be a glitch in the app can you check for an update to the Point of Sale app and go through these Point of Sale app troubleshooting steps? These steps usually resolve most issues but if these sales are still not appearing please call our CS team who can investigate. 

 

 

To confirm an Online Store payment from the app > tap Transactions > tap on the payment and below Card Payment you'll see Payment Received via Square Online Store.

I am contemplating a small theater myself, and just posted a Feature Request for this particular situation.  Please read, comment, and share so we can get some traction on this particular feature.
