Hi there. I have a manager who also works as a bartender some nights. I would like this manager to be able to receive tips. Based on the FSLA laws, he can only receive tips if he directly and solely works with customers. I chose "tip directly" for my tip allocation and I'm wondering how this works. Does the manager need to open the ticket or close the ticket in order to access those tips? I'm assuming it's opening the ticket but can you please clarify for me? I want to make sure the right tips are going to the right employees.
