Suggestion: record date & time ticket created

We sometimes have to open a ticket for customers (for example, if they have a group coming in sporadically that need to be added to a single order).  Sometimes people leave and forget to pay the ticket.

Unfortunately, the ticket function in Square resets the "time" whenever the ticket is opened and closed.  It would be preferable to have the date and time the ticket was created.  I can't understand why other users have not been demanding this?  Having the time the ticket was last viewed is of no use at all.

Hi @kb0wwp - thanks for posting this! We really do appreciate your feedback. It goes a long way in making our product better.

It looks like you are not the only one asking for this feature. While I can definitely share your feature request with out Product Team, it looks like other Sellers have opted into notating ticket creation time by hand. I understand this may not be the best option, but it is a helpful workaround!

We will be sure to continue to update this thread if there is any news of changes to this feature. Thanks for hanging tough!

Well... that might work if this was a one-person operation, but we have employees (mostly teenagers) and there are specific requirements that they are supposed to enter when they create a ticket - and they don't.

Hey there @blackgoldwashfo I know this looks discouraging but I can assure you we are working hard on improving the visibility of Feature Requests here in the Seller Community. I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers' interest in your request.

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).
