Square register stopped working after update to iOS 9.3.5. It opens but does freezes  in does not see the ship leader for cash drawer

Close out of your Square Register app, then restart your iPad or phone. After the restart, try to sign into Square again, I'm sure your problem will be fixed.

Having the same issue I think: the Square doesn't seem to recognize the iPhone or something. I end up putting in the credit card # manually--half the reason I'm using it is for ease of transaction.

 

Could it be that the latest OS is the problem? I have a 5S phone with the 10.2 OS. Anything I can do to correct this?
