Square Payroll Tax withholding for contractors

Can we do Tax withholding and/or payments for contractors like we do for W2 employees?

Hi @Robert-H! The answer is a no here, that is not possible. Contractors do not have taxes withheld, whether paying them through Square, Gusto, Quickbooks, or any other payroll provider. Taxes are only withheld when paying w-2 employees, so you will need to change the contractors to w-2 employees if you want taxes withheld.
