Scheduled deliveries needs to remove inventory

I have a retail feed store. We sell bales of hay and bagged feed.  We offer full delivery service with hand stacking. Our customer often pay COD. As far as I can tell, square does not have a way to track inventory that has not been paid for. When orders are placed I do not have enough space to set them aside so they remain in the inventory I have in the warehouse. I have ran into the problem of selling out of product in the store before I have made the deliveries that were spoken for. I need an inventory tracking system that could track open tickets or at least track pre orders as well as tracking current sales. Help! Please!

Hi @WHS1! I had this issue as well. The only thing I was able to come up with was to try to collect payment upon order. What if you utilized the feature where you can save customers card to file? Then you can charge their card when they order and process it right away.
