Working in a restaurant setting.
Order inputs to square are printed to the kitchen however they are typed in. Sometimes this leads to chaotic tickets, especially for large orders and when substitutions and notes are added in due to a lack of sensibility in the groupings of the menu items.
It seems to me that it should be possible to have square group the items listed on the ticket by whatever category they belong to within the app; appetizers together, soups together, entrees together.... etc.
1. Im curious why this functionality doesn't already exist; and 2., If anyone within this forum has found a suitable workaround.

While items aren't grouped by category on an order ticket, I can see why you'll need this feature, as it will eliminate confusion for your cooks in the kitchen.
I'll let our Product Team know about this one. If any Sellers know of a workaround that works for your biz, feel free to chime in 🙂
