We run a drive-through and we have employees outside with handheld terminals taking orders. My question is can those orders be sent from the terminal to a remote printer inside the restaurant?
Sure! To do so, just hook up an Ethernet/wifi printer and connect it through the External Printer settings. As long as each Terminal is connected to the same wifi network as the printer and within close range, your tickets will print over a wifi signal so your cooks can start your customers' order.

Is there a printer that can be hooked up through WiFi or does it have to have a ethernet connection?
@Amped - you don't have to get an Ethernet printer.
There's a wifi printer we've tested - Star Micronics TSP143IIIW - and can guarantee compatibility with the Square Terminal. Here's an Amazon link if you want to check it out.

Will the Star Micronics TSP143IIIW also work with Square Register? Looking to setup a kitchen impact printer via wifi.
NVM - The TSP143IIIW is thermal - we're looking for a wifi impact printer that will work with Square Register. Wondering if there any options that will work?
Hey @MalikaCanteen,
Thanks for writing in, welcome to our community 👋
You can find the full list of compatible kitchen printers here - while I don't have any personal experience with the printers listed here, hopefully some other sellers can chime in and share their experiences!
