One of the features I'm looking for is the ability to redirect my clients to a custom page after they book their appointments. I'm able to do this with scheduleonce but I don't see that option in Square Appointments. Am I missing something?
Thank you
That's not an available feature, but it's a very interesting request! I'll send this over to our Product Team so they're aware of the suggestion.
That's a fair perspective.
However, I definitely wanted to mention it here, because a developer, or someone with the right motivation could build out a solution and make it available to ALL Square users on a subscription basis. This would be extra $$$ per month, but if the price is right, it would solve your issue without needing to develop something on your own.
That seems to be the idea, this is why I left weebly , it shoudnt cost 100.00 a month to run a website with all the **bleep** nickel and dimeing.
The request is there since 2016 but still no resolution - how hard can it be to get the ability for a custom thank you page
Any updates on the custom thank you page? We are really trying to hone in on our tracking and this would be a great source especially from our sales people using referral tracking links. Thanks!
Hi @YANYBeauty,
Thanks for writing in and adding your vote to this feature request! I'm afraid we don't have an update at the moment, but we're still tracking this request, and passing your feedback on to the Square Appointments team.
Dude, it's time to wake up and smell the coffee - we are in 2021 - we can't track the conversions
Hey can we get an update on this?
ROFL!
Sorry, don't mean to be cynical. This feature had been requested here (and Square's other country forums) many times since 2016. They're not going to solve this.
I and many others have moved on to other platforms that have this solved already (ie Calendly).
UPDATE: October 2023 - This is the first link that pops-up when one does a quick Google search using "Square Appointments redirect after booking" with the thread categorized as "solved". I'm not sure what's more disheartening, the misleading "solved" label or that Square has seemingly ignored feedback from its users for nearly a decade. Did I miss the solution?
Hello! I was wondering if there have been any updates about this requested feature since the pertinent articles do not show anything in this subject. Thank you so much for your time.
Hey @coach_izzy, thanks for circling back. I just went to check on this and we don't have any updates at this time.
For now, you might want to consider working in your custom page's URL into your email notifications. Learn more in our Support Center: Manage Appointment Communications. I realize this isn't perfect, though it may help drive your customers in the right direction.
Keep in touch!
Hi Tom, Hope you are just wanted to follow up since it seems this request is a few years old.
We are looking to redirect after an appointment made. Is that still not a possibility?
- Doug
Hey @TXStudio - Stepping in for Tom here. Unfortunately, there is no news to share, but I'll make sure to flag your feedback with the Appointments team.
I'd love to be able to re-direct clients after a booking as well. Is there any update on this feature? Thanks so much!
Hey @lesleygilbert - Unfortunately, we don't have any updates to share regarding the addition of this feature, but we'll definitely let you know if that changes.
Am also VERY interested in being able to set a "post-booking" redirect URL, where I can include Javascript to trigger things such as sending an actual booking completion event to Google Analytics, among other things. Not knowing when a customer has actually booked makes measurement pretty opaque and near impossible.
SEJ or search engine journal. An SEO site just posted an article outlining the most common way PPC ad budget is wasted.
What do you think the number one way PPC ad budget was wasted? Lack Of Conversion Tracking!
I can't believe that this request was made back in 2016 and it STILL has not been addressed!
You say that Square developers and project management are not ignoring feature requests. Well, I have to call bull on that statement. You're trying to tell us that in 4 years it's not been possible to add a redirect field to the process? Meanwhile, you add features like taking a credit card payment over the phone which, I don't know, seems a little more complex than a redirect. You come out with a revamp of the Square Store. Yeah, you want to compete with Shopify we get it. But guess what, so do all of us and not being able to determine what is working with our advertising and what isn't is costing us money.
What's the bet that you yourselves have conversion tracking all over your site so you can see what ads work to sell your services and your hardware. Why are you ignoring us then since you understand how important this function is.
Enough beating around the bush. Get on with this. There's more than enough interest already.
I definitely hear your concerns but I do want to explain a bit of the process of features requests and why some get launched and others do not. You are seeing platform building - and that does not necessarily mean each team works on a feature request as a whole that is prioritized, but they are subparts of specific teams and platforms.
For instance you're looking for redirects with Square Appointments. This will solely be an Appointments lift with conversion tracking possible. As far as blockers to launch, usually when something like this seems easy - it is dependent on a many other substructures and cross team functionality being implemented, which causes the foundational work to be done before the "easy stuff" can be completed.
For this specific request, I will circle back to the Appointments team and find out if we can get any specific timeline or roadmap if this is available and anything that may be coming up as a blocker for us to get a more solid answer for you.
Appointments has made some huge strides this year releasing many new products, and many of our launch timelines changed due to covid response this year. Let me see what I can uncover specifically, and hopefully shed more light on this for you.
Here's yet another article and video discussing the importance of conversion tracking
Search Engine Land: Video: Anthony Church on conversion tracking & SEO.

I would also add that this thread was marked as 'solved' which I feel is incorrect. This issue has not been resolved we STILL do not have a way of tracking conversions. Only when that is corrected should this thread be marked as solved.
This is a dire needed feature. This isn't a comfort request, it's an ability to help us, the small business owners trying to survive out here, to create a user friendly exit to our brand.
This doesn't need a circle back around, it needs the whole wagon train to camp at this problem for what time it takes to fix / implement it.
We don't want this WE NEED IT.
I took time to book anonymously, as I do from time to time, to check how my clients feel / navigate while booking.
It is a disgrace that they (and so was I) are thrown out into a general square site after booking, it's dissolving to the brand, it confuses clients. It's just tacky.
Not to mention the data we need to help us market and model our business going forward with many tools Google and various other marketing tools offer.
WE NEED THIS! NOW!
Four years is way too long for this to have grown as stagnant as it seems.
Hey @HellRazor, this hasn't been 4 years. This was originally requested in 2014. 7 YEARS AGO!!!
