Non Profit Processing Rates

Hi,

Does square offer any special processing programs for non profits? One of my new clients is a large non profit and they're interested in lower cost processing rates like other processors offer specifically for non profits.

Discount is based more off of sales volume.  They can just call sales.

There is no discount for non-profits. If annual sales exceed $250,000, a business could qualify for a lower processing rate.

we're also a 501c3 and we use square mobile readers for auctions. It's a great way to capture payment immediately!

If the non-profit's income for a year is <$50,000, how does it apply for a lower rate?  Majority of payments are made online through our Wix website.

Thanks for writing in with this question!

Custom rates are not currently available for business processing under 50k per year. 

I recommend taking a look at service charges if you're looking for a way to offset fees. You could also consider adjusting your prices to take the processing fee into account, just like you would with other business costs such as website hosting, electricity or rent, for example.
