I am new to the appointment setting faction of square and I followed the directions.
Set up a consultation appoint service with a discount for a private group. When I tested it, it did not take payment when setting the appointment.

To set up prepayments so your customers need to pay in order to book the appointment, visit Payments and Cancellations in your online Appointments dashboard, and select Require Prepayment.
